My greatest passion has always been to know God.
From an early age, I found myself captivated by the God revealed in Scripture. While others often admired the stories of the Bible, I became fascinated by the God behind those stories—His majesty, wisdom, holiness, sovereignty, mercy, and glory. I was equally inspired by faithful Bible teachers who opened the Scriptures with reverence, clarity, and conviction, revealing truths that transformed not only the mind but also the heart. Witnessing God’s Word faithfully explained awakened within me a lifelong desire to do the same.
That passion eventually led me into pastoral ministry, where I had the privilege of preaching, teaching, and shepherding God’s people. Pastoral ministry strengthened my conviction that the greatest need of the church is not simply more information about God, but a deeper knowledge of God Himself. While I remain grateful for the privilege of pastoral ministry, I increasingly sensed the Lord leading me toward a broader ministry of biblical teaching that could reach believers beyond the walls of a single local congregation.
This calling gave birth to Intimate with God Ministries.
The purpose of this ministry is simple yet profound: to awaken and cultivate intimacy with God through faithful preaching, careful biblical teaching, and Christ-centered writing. Every sermon, article, course, and book is written with one goal—to help believers know God as He has revealed Himself in His Word and to respond to Him with deeper faith, greater worship, and joyful obedience.
The central themes that shape my ministry are the majesty of God, the absolute pre-eminence and sufficiency of Jesus Christ, the sovereignty of divine grace, and humanity’s complete dependence upon God. These are not merely theological concepts to be studied but glorious realities that transform every aspect of the Christian life. The more we behold God’s greatness, the more we are humbled, strengthened, and conformed to the image of Christ.
I am convinced that Scripture is inexhaustible. Every generation is called to return to God’s Word with humility, allowing it to shape our understanding rather than forcing it to fit our assumptions. For this reason, I seek to write and teach in a way that is biblically faithful, theologically rich, pastorally warm, and accessible to believers who desire to grow in spiritual maturity. My hope is not merely to provide answers, but to encourage thoughtful engagement with Scripture so that readers become lifelong students of God’s Word.
Whether through books, Bible studies, online teaching, conferences, or discipleship resources, my prayer is that this ministry will encourage believers around the world to pursue what is both the highest calling and the greatest privilege of the Christian life: to know the living God through Jesus Christ.
